S.C.R. is just a girl trying to figure out life like everyone else—but doing it with style and grace. I could give you the typical bio jargon—I’m a wife, a mom, I’ve got the degrees—but honestly, those titles don’t define me. Truth be told, I’m still figuring those roles out, so bear with me. Right now, my bigger purpose is finding joy, thriving in creativity, and protecting my peace while wearing many hats. Some say balance is a myth and having it all is impossible—I say, let’s see.

 

I’m a corporate girly with an entrepreneurial spirit who’s tried her hand at many things. Let’s just say I’m a jack of all trades—master of none. I started in banking, pivoted to marketing, and now here I am—blogging. See? Still figuring it out. The beauty is—I wouldn’t have it any other way. What would life be if we never took risks, tried new things, or pivoted at least once? We only get one, right? As my thirties blaze by, I know now—I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. Every hurdle was necessary, and every desire of my heart will be fulfilled.

So I welcome you on this journey with me. I’m building the life I want one brick at a time—and I hope it encourages you to do the same. I won’t have all the answers, I’ll probably share unpopular opinions and be a little blunt—but honesty with compassion will always be my approach. And because I love cackles and cocktails, sometimes I’ll be a bit unserious. After all—what’s life without laughter?
